Works 1-3 were made by Jessye and presented at correspondences during her residency project Ouyang Yu, Ekphrasis. Works 4-7 were made by Jessye during the 2023 Resonate program, Drawing Sound (also presented at correspondences). Works 8-14 were made by Jessye and presented as part of her solo exhibition, The Surface Ripples, at Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library. They were exhibited again at correspondences as part of her residency project with Ouyang Yu, Ekphrasis. Installation photographs of selected works by Ali McCann and Annika Kafcaloudis.
