to correspondences. Our aim is to create lasting people connections across cultures through the medium of art.
Each activity comes with a curated ‘kid-friendly’ introduction to the artist’s practice, a comprehensive ‘making worksheet’ and an optional ‘making kit’ that you can purchase separately to reduce planning for Mum, Dad or Aunty Emma.
The making worksheet gives step-by-step instructions, including photographs and, where applicable, videos.
The activities are purposefully designed to be completed in parts so that you can juggle life (park trips and bedtimes) around making - like artists do!
Our activities are tried, tested and reviewed by our in-house team, artists and our education advisor to ensure our materials are tailored for young people aged 7-8 years+ with the support of an adult collaborator or ‘buddy’. But you know your young people best.
Our activity worksheets are priced at $5 because substantial labour is involved in their production. When purchased with a kit, the cost is $20, which helps us to cover the cost of the materials and any technical advice sought.
During Christmas 2022 holiday, we were thrilled to release our first activity for resident artist Ali McCann. You can access Ali’s activity via the catalogue below. Press Shop Ali McCann.
