We offer these works in this way because it generates greater visibility and income for the participating artists and because we think selecting, organising and caring for art is one of life's most rewarding pastimes. This approach allows a broader range of people to afford this opportunity.
Our artworks are selected from our residency exhibitions or the studios of our residents and collaborating artists.
A Cares subscription involves a 20% lay-by deposit upfront (20% of the total subscription/artwork value), and then the remaining value of the work can be paid off over a 12-month subscription.

To activate a subscription for a given artwork, please email info@correspondences.work.
Upon receipt, we will send you an invoice for the 20% deposit and a link for the activation of the subscription via our website.
Artworks may be collected after the subscription value has been paid in full. In the meantime, artworks are professionally packed and stored by us.
If, during the lay-by subscription, you wish to cancel the lay-by, a 20% cancellation fee - equivalent to the original deposit - applies. All other monies will be refunded. This fee is essential as it covers the opportunity cost for the artist, where the work could have been sold in full to another collector.
Pricing excludes freight. Metro, regional, national and international freight is an extra cost and requires a separate quotation which can be provided upon request made to info@correspondences.work.
If you’re Naarm (Melbourne) metro-based, we can also offer our Cares Standard and Cares Plus services for an additional fee.
Cares Standard involves you selecting an artwork(s) from an exhibition or the catalogue. We will then professionally pack, transport and hang the piece(s).
Cares Plus involves us visiting you at home or at your place of work. We will ask you what you like, measure up the space and provide a design and proposed list of artworks specific to your site. We will then professionally pack, transport and hang/de-install the piece(s).
